The book is illustrated by former Disney artist and animator Terry Naughton. The story is full of personal insights and includes a delightful new character R2-KT, named in memory of Katie Johnson. Katie was the daughter of Albin Johnson, founder of the 501st Legion, the philanthropic Star Wars costuming organization. Katie lost her battle with cancer at age 7. In her memory, a portion of the proceeds for My Favorite Giant will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Peter Mayhew Foundation.
